The Chelsea Arts Club [The Chelsea Arts Club]
a London club which was established in 1891 by a group of artists living in ↑Chelsea including Whistler. It was well known for the Chelsea Arts Ball, a party held every year from 1910 to 1958 at the ↑Albert Hall, for which art students in London made special costumes and decorations.
